Tax question

We are going to buy a house very soon. My fiancé has an appointment with an accountant very soon to do his taxes. I was wondering if he can create a profit loss statement along with his taxes? I'm not sure if we will need it when getting a mortgage but I figured it can't hurt. My fiancé is a self employed contractor. Like is that stamens part of the process of can we ask if it's not?
