Kicking low

I'm 24 weeks and a few days and I have felt my baby punching me down in my pubic area. I'm sitting really really low. So low everyone teases I'm going to look down and see her head. I've been contracting true contractions for about a month but no change in the cervix. With my first I was contracting and my cervix was opened about a 3. I was put in bed rest. I also carried really low with my first but not as low. Should I be worried or is this normal. I just am getting worried cuz what happened with my first.
