Lower abdominal pain

So I found out last week I'm about 5 & 1/2 weeks pregnant a week prior and since then I have random lower abdominal pain that feels like I'm being stabbed in the stomach. It usually only last between 10& 30 minutes. It first stared I would have the pain after intercourse now it just happens every now and then. Am I the only one with this problem? My doctor says everything is growing normally so I don't know.
