anatomy ultrasound help please ?!?

This is my first go round in being a mother so I'm willing to take in any information someone has for me , you have to start somewhere right but anyway Im 19 weeks along and I have my anatomy scan Tuesday what are some questions that I need to ask ????

I asked does growth look appropriate is there enough amniotic fluid does the umbilical cord have all three vessels are there any cysts visible or fluid in kidneys im a first time mother to the sonographer answered all my questions for me however my anatomy scan was taken at a high risk doctors office so that may be a difference

It's normally just a tech that does the anatomy scan.  If he or she sees anything wrong she'll tell your ob and you can direct any questions to your ob

If they are a decent ultrasound technician you should t have to ask anything. They will talk you through what they see and tell you whether you have an anterior or posterior placenta, size of baby, healthy looking baby, they should put out the 4 chambers of heart/ heart beat, stomach, legs, arms, hands, feet, gender, measurements.

When I had mine they told me he looked perfectly okay and growing how he should, so really my only questions for them were just to reassure myself so I asked "so he's okay?" "So he looks healthy?" "He's okay?" Ftm and worried as always so I just wanted to double check on my baby!

The ultrasound tech probably wont answer many questions for you honestly. Theyll tell you gender and can point out like oh thats the legs, hands, etc but they usually arent allowed to answer questions about everything being fine. They measure all kinds of things - appendages, brain, heart, etc but the Dr will be the one to tell you its all good or not. It's nice though because it's long and you get to watch your little baby wiggling around!
