Pregnancy hormones or am I right?

So me and my so live abroad his parents live here too but he hasn't seen his sister since new year, they're over for a week and all he's been concerned about is alcohol, bare in mind he never drinks but we've been at the pub every night for 3 days now past 2-3 am and I'm so tired and sick of all the looks I get, we're going into our rent money because he spent 30 euro in one day on his shots :/ he says he doesn't see his sister often and that I'm being really unfair! What makes it worse is that we had not a penny to our names and I had to borrow money off my mom which is the money he spent on drink and we argued because I wanted to buy a photo frame to put the scan photos in her nursery which only cost 7 :/ because I don't work though and it's his money he spouted off saying he's buying all this baby stuff and pays rent and food and doesn't get to spend his own money, am I being harsh for being pissed at him?
