Question about induction?

Ok... So tomorrow I have my doctors appointment to see how baby is doing... I will be 40+6... My doctor has been wanting me to be induced since this past Friday. Now I did cancel that induction because i wanted to give my baby more time to come out on her own.

Now that I am hitting 41weeks... What do you ladies think is best? Be induce by Tuesday or wait it out till Friday?

As of last week Monday she had enough fluids and was doing pretty well. I was 0 dilated and -3stage.

I Am in between going for it and at the same time waiting it out. This is my second baby. I had my first at 39 weeks vaginal. I would like to go vaginal again...

I ended up being pushed along with oxytocin (I.e pitocin).  It helped a lot because I stalled so much and honestly my little guy wouldn't had come vaginally without the help.  So in the end if you're that far along I would recommend at the very latest set up your induction on the books so it's scheduled for the staff by 41+5 because it gives you 2 days to dilate. Just incase you stall. After 42 weeks you're baby can be at pretty high risk for a number of complications including bowel movements in utero.

An induction greatly increases the risk of needing a c-section. It'll be a 50/50 chance of c-section or vaginal birth

I had my induction at 39w6d everything went great until I started to push and my doctor realized my pubic bone is turned up like a hook and my caucus bone is to close to my pelvic bone needing a section. Now I know I will always need s csection, but I was in labor  from the induction for 20 hours, 3 of them pushing and it wad not that bad. Only had painful contractions for two hours once I got the epidural felt nothing! Good luck!!! Whichever you choose to do you'll be great!
