Male Infertility

Husbands sperm count is low and motility low. He went to a urologist and they said they couldnt give him clomid bc its for women. I thought they can prescribe it for him! Were so confused with going straight to IVF or trying IUI. Im afraid of doing IVF especially hearing about the shots everyday and the hormonal changes and retrieval. So confused! :(
