Sacroiliitis?

I went the to doctors today and my doctor said that its not my sciatic nerve that's acting up that it's my sacroiliac joint that inflaming. She gave me an exercise to do and said but Ice on it. Has any one else ever delt with this and how did you relieve some of the pain?

I have it too! It is terrible... I've been going to the chiropractor once a week for a little over a month and it has helped. The exercises I was given to do have helped the most I think.

The chiropractor! Helps keep everything moving in the direction it should be through out the pregnancy and not be misaligned. If your sacroiliac is out, eventually you will just have more and more problems. Ice is definitely your friend, but I would seriously get to a chiropractor asap!

Ugh... Dealing with the same now! My Dr said it was the babies position..car back and low...sitting on nerves! Hurts to walk, hurts to bend, hurts to even lay and sit down! Not comfortable! I got exercises to do as well. Best of luck!!!

I am in terrible pain.  Mostly when i wake up in the middle of the night to pee. I can hardly walk.  I have to pull myself up with my arms.  I have a shooting pain that goes from my lower back through my leg. Its so bad i have to sit to put my pants on.  Its like a shock of Lightning. I dont have a diagnosis doc only gave me muscle relaxers.

I had sacroilitis, I had it before I was pregnant. I used ice and a pillow under or between my knees for relief. But what ultimately fixed me was a chiropractor. Turns out my whole pelvis was misaligned and that's what was causing it.
