Progesterone for pregnancy after mc?

Does anyone have experience using progesterone to support pregnancy after having a miscarriage? My doctor was talking about options and this was one thing she brought up. She said when I do get pregnant again, she can prescribe progesterone to help support early pregnancy, but the research is kind of mixed. Just wondering if anyone had experiences they could share?

I get the shots, I had to have them with my 2 pregnancy and they helped me make it to 35 weeks both times

I have to have it each time I get pregnant as my levels are low.  I have to insert the pill vaginally and it has helped me carry two babies full term.

It will really only help if you the issue was low progesterone in your other pregnancies otherwise there is no need but they prescribe it anyways and can't hurt.
