Need Advice!

So me and my boyfriend are both Christian, and at one point both of us were completely committed to staying pure until we got married. Well now I'm not in total agreement with that any more, but he still is (or at least trying to be). I wanna at least talk about sex being a part of our relationship, but he doesn't want to on the grounds of then all he'd want to do is have sex instead of enjoying being with me. I feel bad because I'm not helping him be a better Christian, but I also really want that level of intimacy. BTW we've been dating for almost a year, and we're both 17
