Birth photographer?

I plan on just having my husband in the room during labor this time. He's not very handy with a camera ( bless his heart). I would like pictures of us during labor ( not the gory stuff) and the first few hours after baby is born. This will be my last baby so I want really good pics of us, her meeting my son, ect to cherish for a lifetime. I'm nervous about having someone I don't know being involved in a very intimate experience, but at the same time you forget a lot about labor and birth after it happens so I would like it documented. Anyone else considering hiring a birth photographer?
