period is 4d late

do you know if getting sick can delay your period? yesterday i got sick all of a sudden, im thinking food poisoning, seeing as i could only throw up once, & im already starting to feel a bit better. ive been sleeping all day, and just ate some frozen strawberries as "easy food" on my stomach. my stomach still hurts & my joints hurt & i have a headache. not sure if i still have a fever. any input would be appreciated, thanks!
