Anyone else's baby not eating solids yet?

My baby is almost 7 months now and he's not really taken to solids he's EBF. He's just not interested and spits the food out no matter how hungry he is! anyone else?

I make my daughter purees but she hates runny so i make them very thick.

If i buy the premade i have to add 1/4c of cereal to thicken it

My son would spit out the runny solids at first. Then we tried a thicker puree and he did so well. We do stage 2 foods and sometimes add some oatmeal or rice to it.

I feed my baby when she is not too full nor too hungry. She love it but I only try slightly sweet cereals or jar of fruit. I haven't try none sweet good yet ! She may split on top of me too 😂😂

My son is interested in food but who's rather feed himself. So we let him. I give him his bites if pureed veggies or fruits first. Then when he is done I give him finger foods.  Your LO will tell you what he/she wants.

I've just started my 7 month old as he wasn't interested at 6 months. He has 60g of savoury puree and 50g of pureed fruit or a small yogurt. I tried mashed food but he didn't like the texture. Both my boys have a texture thing I think. My 3 yr old won't touch fruit whole but loves it in smoothies, yogurts or pureed. Can't really complain as long as he's getting his fruit!

My son is 7 months EBF as well. He doesn't not like to eat the baby good too. I don't know what it is about breast fed babies but they tend to do that.

Be patient and keep offering them. Our daughter wasn't initially interested either and the doctor told us to keep pushing it. Now she loves to eat. When we introduce new flavored or textures we still have to introduced them multiple times before she will eat them.

My soon to be sister in law did not introduce her first child to solids until 8 months and she was Ebf. There's no real time table give it  a little more time and try again. Play around with what you give her and you'll figure it out.

My daughter was the same way. I tried at 4 months but she wasn't into it so I just stopped. When she turned 6 months the dr. Said to try and get one flavor and stick to it for one week so she can get used to it. She didn't like banana, mango or any fruit. I started giving her sweet potato and carrots and she loves it. The only way she will eat fuit is if it's fresh fruit and I let her munch on it  like kiwi and strawberries and she loves it but I don't let her hold them I hold it for her. I read somewhere to try giving then like 6 tsp of solid food and afterward like 4oz of formula or breast milk so breakfast, lunch and dinner and little snack in between.
