How often should we have sex?

My husband and I have been TTC for 9 months. I read that we should have sex every other day instead of every day during the fertile period. Is there any truth to this and does anyone know if we should stop having sex every day when I'm fertile?

As soon as I got a pretty dark ovulation test I started having sex. Did three days in a row and ended up pregnant. So just saying....

I think it's hard to tell tbh! I truly believe it's luck of the winning sperm 😂 sometimes every day and sometimes every other day but it only takes once so who bloody knows 😂 not a very inspiring post but I wish you luck 😘

We did everyday sometimes twice a day but that's our norm anyways lol it worked in 24.2 wks pregnant with baby boy good luck

I'm not sure, but I also heard every other day is better. Since sperm can live for up to 3 to 5 days once inside, there is no need to have sex everyday. It also gives the man time to replenish. But, this is just information I've read online. I'm fairly new to the ttc community so...

I was told by my fertility doctor to have sex every day during fertile window since my husband's speed does not have any known infertility issues. Sometimes every other day is needed because of issues with the sperm. But if healthy and good to go, every day will give better odds of conceiving.

Our fertility OB told us every other day for sperm health.  Also,  It's easier on the stress levels if it takes a while. ....
