Middle of the night "morning" sickness???

Is this a thing?  8w4d.  Woke up in the middle of the night (as usual) but this time I felt super nauseous.   So far I've been super lucky and have had no morning sickness whatsoever (though "lucky" is subjective since we've been trying for 3 years for this baby so a hint of morning sickness would be reassuring).   Could this be the beginning of the morning sickness?   Come morning I felt completely fine again.
