Placenta capsulation? Blood banking?

Questions for all of the moms out there:

1. Did you capsulate your placenta or do something similar? How did you go about it? Who did you go through?

2. Did you do cord blood banking? Do you feel it was worth it?

3. For new moms, are you planning on doing anything with your placenta or cord blood banking?

Hi! So I did both! 
I encapsulated my placenta. There is no scientific proof that it does anything for us but I know a few people who have done it and felt like it truly helped them! And I figured if it could even slightly hep me then it was worth it and if it was a load of garbage they whatever I wasted 200$ but the pros for it were worth it to me. I'm still currently taking them (2 a day) since my baby is 4 weeks Monday. It's about 6 weeks worth of pills. But depends how big your placenta is I think. It's supposed to help with many different things including miLk production and post partum depression.

We also decided to store our babies cord blood only. We didn't do the cell tissue or whatever. Once again we weighed the pros and cons. I know a lot of people are going to say you should do delayed core cutting instead. But we figured if gd for bid we ever needed that cord blood in the future for any reason. Wether for our child or even for us because gd forbid one of us is sick and needs it we for any reason we want to have it. And in 20 years maybe they'll be able to do way more with it (never know) but we just went with it because if we don't have it and we need it one day? We will be so upset with ourselves for not doing it. And I know a lot of people don't want to think that way but we want to believe we will NEVER EVER need it but want to have it incase.

No to placenta encapsulation because there are no studies proving it has health benefits, but I do want to see it before it's discarded though. And no to cord blood banking unless it's a necessity. It seems like it would be quite expensive. We are; however, going to do delayed cord clamping as long as everything goes well.

I encapsulated and had a tincture made from my first birth. I'm not sure if I'll do it again as I still had some from last time but I'll save the placenta (deep freezer it is good for a year) and decide if I need it later. 
I would not do cord banking because it deprives baby of 1/3 of their blood right at birth.

CBB is not needed unless there is a medical condition that may require a BT or something. It deprives baby of needed o2, nutrients, ect 😨
