So this woman has had about as many dogs as how old she is.

Last summer her dog died from cancer and her brother giving the dog people cancer medication.

So my SO and I got a line on a 8 week old female water dog, everything they like in dogs basically, and we are willing to give it to her for a mother's day present.

But she says that she will never want another dog again, (she has said that after the last 6).

Her Husband, FIL, says she won't have to take care of her at all, it will all be on him. He's ready 100%.

SO had the idea about a dog because he knows his mom gets depressed workout a dog, (don't know why, ) and he spoke to his dad and his dad was looking for a dog for her.

So should we get her the dog even though she won't like it at first? Or should we have her husband buy it? Or pass altogether? What do you think?
