TTC while breastfeeding

Anyone had experience with this? My son is 7.5 months old and I am still exclusively nursing (breastfeeding and pumping while I'm at work). I got my period back when he was 6 months, even though he's no where close to sleeping through the night and nursing every 3-4 hours (No fair!) I've had 2 periods, exactly as expected, I seem to be regular as far as I can tell. My periods are short now, 3 days. I don't know if I'm actually ovulating. I just want to hear stories of those who got pregnant while still exclusively nursing/BFing/pumping. We have decided not to prevent, but wondering if things tend to happen as they did with our first or if things take longer while nursing... Thanks!
