Those Damn Strings...

Is it normal to sometimes feel the strings and sometimes not? At first, I didn't think that I knew what I was looking for haha. However, I have noticed that the strings can be lower for me or higher at times. I went to the OB/GYN and he said that my IUD's in place... Does anyone else find their strings to be at different heights/positions sometimes?
