Brown discharge

Hi everyone, I am 7W 2D gone, first pregnancy 😊I have been having brown discharge on and off for two weeks, its gooey and sometimes little lumps(sorry for the details).

I have a midwife appointment next week.

I did ring an early pregnancy unit who said it is normal however if worried refer to gp, it takes a week to get a gp app so will probably have to wait till I see midwife.

Is anyone having similar experience or could put my mind at ease please
