senior year break up

so I'm a second semester senior, getting ready to go off to college and everything. January 11th of this year my boyfriend of 2 years texted me after i got home from work saying that he needed to talk to me and would be over in 5 minutes. when he got here he texted me and asked me to come to the car. he then proceeded to tell me that it was over and he didn't love me anymore. I was heart broken and still am to be honest. I still love him but have actually moved on and I'm not just telling myself that anymore but truely am ready to move on. I met a guy a four years older at a fire department fundraiser. he's a member at a neighboring station. well him and I have gotten really close but I'm not ready for a real relationship since I'm going off to college soon and he's ready to settle down right now. we decided to stay friends after having sec a few times but we are both still hung up on our ex's. Easter came around and my ex had decided to text me apologizing for how he'd treated me since the break up and realized how bad he fuckwd up and wishes he hadn't broken up with me. I know I'm over him but I just need some advice on how to get " back into the game" I guess. proms in a month and I'm dateless and have no real guy friends beings that I moved to this school my sophomore year. all of junior and most of senior I was taken. any tips or help with getting back out there?
