So like many other men, sometimes my husband will space off and I swear I will have to repeat myself 100 times before he even says "what? Did you day something?" Or when I tell him something he will not even acknowledge that I said anything. Well, I confronted him about it the other night and asked him "why do you ignore me when I tell you things?" And he said to me "it's just easier not to respond instead of thinking of something to say" which kind of irked me the wrong way...so I continued with "well, the effort of some kind of interaction would be nice" and he ignored me! Didn't say ANYTHING for at least 15 minutes until I asked him "so its just easier not to talk to me?" And he said "yeah you should try it"....I'm pretty upset. I'm a stay at home mom and my husband is pretty much my sole source of conversation besides my children (3+9mos) and the fact that he doesn't want to put in any effort to communicate with me stings...I'm not overreacting am I? He says I'm being a baby :(

You are not overreacting. Communication is one of the most important things in relationships. He's flat out telling you that he purposely doesn't communicate with you. And then he's giving you relationship advice with the "you should try it" line? No. How about he should try doing the thing that relationships are built on, otherwise he won't have a relationship!

You're not overreacting. That's a dick move he's pulling. My husband would never talk (or not talk) to me in that manner. Hell no.

No you aren't being a baby. It's rude for him to just ignore you. If he isn't in a talkative mood he needs to find a polite way to convey that to you... But he can't do that all the time either, you have needs too!

Yea my bf will do that but he didnt give me some asshole remark he just doesnt respond A. He playin a gane or reading something B. He doesnt care C.he didnt hear me cu hes zoned out lol but he knows i wont give up so he will listen &reply...

I don't know if you're over reacting or not, but I would try a different approach. My husband is not a man of many words. He doesn't contribute to a conversation if he feels like everything he would add has already been added. Try asking or saying things with less detail so he asks more questions. 
I usually ask questions like: what are your thoughts on that? How do you see it? What would you do when...? Just questions that require a response from him.
My husband goes in phases. Most of the time, he doesn't talk much but there are some days where he just talks and talks. I love those but find myself laughing 'cause he won't stop talking.
Try asking questions about him, his day, his work, his coworkers, anything that gets him talking.
I know you didn't really ask for advice but I found I could relate so I shared. Sorry if it's not really what you're wanting.
