Ttc for 4 years could it be scar tissue from appendasightus,

I had appendasightus when I was 13 ( just starting my periods) my appendix had burst leaving me with puss pockets that had to be drained. In now 24 and have been ttc for 4+yrs. I suffer bad with periods every month with agonising pains I've had ultra and internal scans and am waiting on results for my iron to he tested? Could my appendix be the reason I can't get pregnant or could my bad periods be a sign?
