Spotting on pill

I missed a pill last Friday April 1st and was sexually active without protection that day as well. I took the pill maybe 6 hours after I was supposed to. While I have been on birth control for 2 years now, this is my first pack of a new prescription with a different dosage and mix. It is 8 days later after being late to take my pill and I have had slight spotting and now pretty decent amount of spotting throughout the week. Should I be concerned or is this my body getting used to the new pill?
