Uncertain..

Hello . So my long distance boyfriend of one year broke up with me about a month ago. He's reason was because of something I lied about and how I seemed to get mad at him when I wasn't in a good mood. Now a few weeks later he's saying that he is starting to trust me again and says that the reason he is still not with me is because of the distance. He's saying how all he really wants to do is see me again. I've been trying to get to the bottom of this back and forth with him because it's not seeming to make any sense at all. He says he can't do the distance but if we see each other he'll be ok but afterwards we'll have to go our separate ways so what difference does it make??? Any advice please?
