UPDATE: Does she not want me to come?

My sister is graduating from high school in June. I've been asking my mom the date and she keeps saying "the school hasn't cemented it down, they're not sure of the exact date". (This makes sense in that district since they change dates frequently and have 3 schools that they try to have graduation on different days since family can have nieces/nephews in a different school as their daughters/sons are graduating from)
.
So I called the school and they told me the date. I figured my mom just wasn't in the know, so I quickly texted her that I checked with the school and they gave me the date (which I then gave to her). Then I called my grandparents to give them the definitive date and time. My dad was home and they said that they knew and my mom gave them that exact date and time MONTHS AGO.... PLURAL!
.
This makes me think that they don't want me and my husband there, and I don't understand why or where any bad blood could have come from. They were peachy last year at our wedding. Our relationship has always been rocky and I thought we were on the mend... 😞 what should I say?
.
I'm very blunt and feel like I'd just say "hey so I called to give Oma and grandpa the date and they said you told them that date months ago. Are we not invited or something?"
.
I just don't know. She was very physically and emotionally abusive and she went through therapy and such and I thought she was getting better, or at least to a point where we could have a distant, but decent relationship.
.
UPDATE: so she says "no we got an email that said the date might change that's all." But I don't know why she couldn't have just told me what the date was supposed to be and warn me it might change. We were talking and she led me to believe that there was absolutely no consensus on a date. I don't know what to think. Our history makes me feel like she's lying and covering her ass.
