I have never cheated on my boyfriend. I am pretty sure I contracted the STD from my former partner. My boyfriend and I have dated for over two years. Is there anyway the std resolved itself or any other explanation on why he didn't contract the STD even after 2 years of unprotected sex?

He could have cheated and got treated before you noticed you had it. That's why he's negative now.

That definitely happens! And not necessarily because people cheated. Especially in males, chlamydia can resolve itself before they get tested and then it's like they never had it. While cheating and being secretive are definitely possible situations, another one is that the guy had it and his body fought it off before having symptoms or getting tested.

Same thing happened to me except I didn't get it. I was having sex with a guy and one day he told me that I gave him chlamydia and so when i went to go get checked my test came back negative for it. I never understood how he got it and not me when we had just had unprotected sex about a week before he got tested.

I had trichamonisis & my husband tested negative. I knew I had gotten it before we had gotten married but still so confused on how he got a negative test. If anyone has any idea, feel free to share!!
