They forgot to tell you about the emotions that come when seeing other new moms belly grown. It hurts the most when it was close to your due date. You say "that's what I'd look like". For a brief moment there's an awe and then immediately replaced with knowing it's no longer there. It's a gut wrenching pain that rips every last breath you have. You just want to disappear.
