Still don't have bi-weekly OB appointments?

I'm 34.2 weeks, and I STILL am just going in once a month. My next appointment is on the 18th, but it kind of makes me nervous that my baby is so big, yet is barely monitored for anything. My doc has been doing this for 30+ years, even delivered me so, idk. Has anyone else had just monthly appointments until around this time? Is this normal?

Well to be honest my bi weekly appointments seem like such a waste if time. With that being said I'm not having complications. I just go in, they  ask if I'm feeling him move like usual snd check heart rate. I don't see much of a point in this since I feel him moving just fine and I know he is ok.

I started my weekly appointments this week at 36 weeks.... Not sure why your dr is waiting so long...

I've been on bi weekly since about 30 weeks or so now I'm 34 weeks five days this is my last bi weekly on the 25th then I'll start going every week I guess every doc is diff same with my doc he will be 80 soon and doesn't look a day over 30... He delivered my sis who is 39 me I'll be 28 my brother who will be 20 my nephew who will be 15 my 7yr old daughter and he'll be delivering our new baby who will be here may 16th... But I'm guessing soon your doc will be seeing you every two weeks

I just started my bi weekly appointments at 34 weeks, consider it a good sign that everything has been going well and baby is healthy. A big baby isn't something they can control and your still early enough to where they wont want to induce you or schedule a c section for a few more weeks if even needed.

I don't like going every week but because I've been high risk I've never had once a month. You're lucky! Mine has been every two weeks since I found out I was pregnant 😩 which I found out super late I wa like 10 weeks lol

I wish my OB still did once a month. Ugh. I'm 37 weeks and it's a waste of time to go in every week. She doesn't even check (it would be pointless anyways) and if I go into labor, I'm gonna go to the birth center. Lol I don't think it's a big deal if you're low risk pregnancy and everything feels like pregnancy pain. No bleeding, no broken water, no labor contractions? Bueno.

I am 35 weeks today and how its going to works for me at my obgyns is from 0 to 28 once a month, 28 to 36 twice and from 36 to birth once a week other then one time I had to call and go in early because a severe migraine at 33 weeks (which I still have!)

Everyone is different. I've been seeing my midwife every two weeks for over a month now. I start my weekly appointments today at 36weeks and 4 days.
