First time moms - when did your baby come?

I've been told the first baby usually doesn't come until after the 40th week, but I'm also learning there aren't many "usuals" when it comes to childbirth. What was your experience? I've been reading the birthing stories on here and it seems like it's all over the place.

I had my first child 4 days early. Completely natural. He was just as over being in there as I was having him in there 😂

I went into labor the day after my due date and had her the next day.

He came two days before the due date. I got my membranes swept at my weekly appointment and it put me into labor that night. It's different for everyone though because everyone else I talked to was actually a week late or had to be induced for their first

40 is the average, it does vary a lot from women to women and even birth to birth!

It really just depends on the baby and your body. Some are earlier like at 35-37 weeks & some are later than 40 weeks
