Birthing Center allowing delivery at 34 weeks?

My birthing center told me that at 34 weeks they won't try to stop me if I go into labor.... this is my 2nd pregnancy and I could've sworn it wasn't till 36 weeks that they did this...
I mean that's kind of exciting but more so nerve racking, I don't feel like the baby is big enough quite yet, I'm 32 weeks now and I know the baby is healthy but I still feel like baby isn't nearly big enough. My first went full term though....

Have any of you heard of this 34 week rule from your dr/midwife? What is your take on it?

I'm currently on bedrest for preterm labor and I am 32 weeks. My Doctor is taking me off at 34 weeks and said they do not stop labor after 34 weeks if I do go in.

My Dr says they will try to stop labor anytime before 37weeks. 34 weeks seems a bit early unless you are having multiples.

I would be looking for a new birth center. At 34 weeks my son had to be admitted to the NICU for over a month and wasn't breathing when he was born. If he had been delivered at a birth center, he wouldn't be with me today. I question any birth center that doesn't refer you to a hospital for labor before 37 weeks. They are not equipped to handle preemies.

34 weeks sounds too early for me. My birthing center won't deliver before 36 weeks.

34 weeks is considered preemie where I'm from.

Most hospitals will stop you until 37 weeks and a lot of places say your not full term now until 39 weeks

My midwife will only deliver after 37 before then they will try and stop it.
