But why would you? You'll feel nothing off one glass anyhow and juice tastes similar and in my opinion better. I love my wine done get me wrong but what for? Why risk it? I don't get it.

I'm 30 weeks and have had red wine throughout my pregnancy. Not weekly, but socially, and never a full glass. Just enough for a few sips. The fruit infused wines from Coopers Hawk have a really low alcohol content, but I've been advised that it's okay. Everyone has their opinion and concerns about it. But if you've gotten the approval then do what you feel is best for you and your baby. Most studies done on alcohol and pregnancy either used hard liquor or excessive intake of wine - above normal consumption. Red wine promotes healthy red blood cells, which in turn helps oxygen get carried better throughout the body. My great grand mother still drinks her glass of Morgan David red wine with her lunch everyday. She's 94, still lives on her own with no assistance. She has no ailments or mental illnesses, and she still drives herself around as long as there's daylight. And she credits it to her wine drinking. My great-great aunt (her sister in law) is also 93 and drank it daily. She is just now starting to show signs of dementia. So is a small amount here or there really damaging? No one really knows. And for either side of the spectrum, whether yay or nay, it doesn't even support an accurate argument. Some people say "why risk it?" I say "why be a puss?". Some people say "that's selfish" I say "that's your opinion". So I do what I want, and me and baby have been just fine. I have no  roblems with my pregnancy- no heartburn, swelling, nausea, breast pains, acne, nothing. Do what you want to do. It's YOUR pregnancy. This topic is almost as touch as vaccinations.

Depends on how far along you are. If you're in your second trimester my doc said no more than 4 ounces every now and again. Third trimester 8 ounces every now and again. I think one glass every other week would be fine as long as you stick to the ounces. I drank wine at my best friends wedding when I was 8 months pregnant and it was fine I just stuck to the 8 ounces and no issues.
