Wedding rings

I tried wearing my wedding ring on my left hand (engagement ring) and it didn't feel comfortable so for a long time I wore it on my necklace but I just started wearing on my right hand and it's feels comfortable is I think it because I'm left handed but is there any rule on what hand the ring goes on...I just wear it on my right cause it's more comfortable
