Will you be anchoring your furniture?

I am planning to anchor my furniture but I'm unsure what needs to be anchored exactly. I have a very small (and short) apartment so I don't have any large pieces of furniture except a couch and bed. For smaller pieces, what size/weight do I stop anchoring?

We will honestly be anchoring anything, anywhere, that could be pulled over! Why risk it when it takes a few minutes of work to eliminate a catastrophic accident?

Anything that moves, in any room that my kids are in (the whole house basically) is anchored to the wall, it just way to dangerous and only takes a few mins. It's also not just a risk for young toddlers, kids up to 8/9 will climb furniture and may not be strong enough to get it off themselves if it tips over.....

We will only be anchoring furniture in the babies room. Bookcase and dresser.

Answer

Anything that can tip or that baby can try to climb. Bookshelves, dressers, tvs, headboard, tall cabinets, etc. Usually it's considered safe to leave couches, chairs, and appliances unanchored.
