Hello ladies. I was wondering who gets to fill out the birth certificate, name, of the newborn? Mom? Dad? I'm asking because my mother in law swore she would name the baby and that her son, my husband, will stand by her. Knowing my husband, he will standby her. I don't want either of them to name the baby. I'm the mother and I went through so much stress dealing with her sh*t. She doesn't talk to me and spat on me and yells at me constantly. Why would she have any right naming my child? I'm afraid my husband will go behind my back and name my child whatever she wants.
