Has anyone else had a baby before the semester is over?

I'm due in late November, but my finals aren't over until December 13th. I'm just really stressing out about how I'll manage! It'll be even worse if I have to go on bed rest or have complications... Has anyone else been through this?

I'm due in the summer and was going to take summer classes. I completely called them off. I know it's school but we really need that time to heal And spend with our babies. I will pick back up next semester with one class to ease my way back in, since I'm going to be having to take care of a newborn as well.

I'm in nursing school...I'm due August 31(the week of my finals) but i have a c section on August 24th (the week before finals). I will be taking my final test in pain from the surgery. I'm praying everything stays on schedule because I do not want to repeat any classes.

I would look into your school's policy on pregnancy related absences (at my school all are excused) and let your professors know from day one that you are due at tve end of the semester and will need to make alternate arrangements for end of the semester assignments and finals. Most of them should be willing to work with you to figure out a plan.

Yes my semester started January 19th and I gave birth on February 2nd. I alerted my professors and the Student Services office and took four weeks off. It was tough to go back but I did it and my semester will be done in a few weeks. Had I had a c section though, I'm not sure I wouldve been able to go back...Luckily my recovery went great!

i'm due may 15th and thats the week of finals. i'm taking my finals a week early and already have 2 done (online class) and one excused because my grade in that class is a 98% and my teacher feels like i don't need to take the final, but for Spanish, english, and photojournalism i'm taking them the week before my due date. and if baby comes before then, i'll take them whenever i'm out of the hospital and will just come to the counselors office and take them there then leave school.

I'm due a week before school starts and I'm freaking out as well. I'm going to only go part time and I have a babysitter lined up for when I'm in classes.

It's a little scary and disappointing; I already know I'm going to want to take him with me lol.
