Obese and pregnant.
Before I was pregnant I weighted 180lbs. I am 27 weeks and currently 196lbs. I have struggled with body image most of my life. Before getting pregnant I was struggling to get down to a healthy weight. During my whole pregnancy I was feeling good about myself but after my last appointment I have been feeling very depressed about my weight. I love the pregnant belly button the number on the scale and being told I'm obese is mentally stressing me out. I work full time and my husband is supportive but is also concerned with my health. He listens to qhat the doctor says and continues to emphasize the importance of working out and maintaining my weight. I have no health issues besides being categorized as obese. I rarely ever get sick too.
I really want to enjoy my pregnancy but now I feel like I am being judge on if I exercise enough and eat the right meals. I only eat fast foods once or twice a week and even that I try for the healthier options or smaller portions. I tend to cook everything at home. And bring that to work to eat.
Anyone else have any advise of what I can do to maintain my weight through the rest of my pregnancy?
