Labor with your first?

Question

I'm currently 37 weeks ftm and I'm wondering when and how you all went into labor with your first born? I'm only 1cm dilated and 50% effaced and I just don't know what to expect.

I kept waking up one night with bad back pain that kept coming and going. I finally got out of bed and started timing them. They quickly came closer together and started coming one after the other so off to the hospital I went! X

I went to the dr that am at 39 weeks 5 days and was 5 cm and 80%. The doctor did a membrane sweep (that was at 11:40 am).  I had inconsistent contractions all day. At 9:45 pm I walked stairs and bounced on my ball to try to get my contractions more consistent and within minutes they are we're 5 minutes apart. Went to the hospital and had our baby at 4:21 pm the next day

I was about 40 weeks, my water broke at 6am & I gave birth at home 16 hours later :)

Water broke unexpectedly at 38+4.  I didn't even feel contractions until after we were at the hospital.

My water ended up breaking 3 days before my due date. It is nothing like in the movies either! Lol it just felt like I was peeing myself a little, had me confused for a little while. Lol didn't feel any contractions either or else that would of definitely gave away what happened. Got to the hospital almost 2 hours later and ended up having to get hooked up to pitocin because my contractions were barely there that I couldn't even feel them. That definitely got the ball rolling and it was all in my back. But once the contractions kicked in it was only 4 hours later that I was able to push. Had drugs through my iv before they let me get the epidural. It was a pretty easy birth. I am hoping it goes the same way this time.

I went into labor with my first at 37 weeks. My dr had swept my membranes that day, I was also 1cm and 50% .. Went to bed that night and had a dream that I was going down a water slide.. Woke up to my water breaking at 4 am. I timed my contractions until they were about 2 mins apart and then I went to the hospital and my daughter was born about 10 hrs later.

Lol castor oil and lots of walking and sexing did it for me ;) my son was born 36w6d. Oh and i also pumped to start contractions
