Breast pumping

My newborn is 5 days old and I've been having a hard time latching her, so I decided as soon as I can start pumping i will. Today I was finally able to notice some milk supply, but can only pump 1oz (both breast) luckily that's what my baby drinks right now. Have any of you moms started pumping yet? If so how much milk have you pumped?
