Mamaroo... Yay or nay??

Question

I am planning on purchasing the mamaroo and would love some feedback!! I've seen a ton of positive reviews but some say it's not worth it. Please let me know if you've used it and what you think!!

It's was good for the first couple of months helped put my daughter to sleep but after about 3 months she didn't care for it anymore. I plan to use it with this baby also.

My son used it a little bit. He never got comfy enough to sleep. He loved his vibrating chair though. Each baby is different. I'm keeping it for #2. Hopefully he/she will love it.

My sister got one for my nephew. He thought it was OK. My daughter loved it & we used it all the time till she was ~4-5 months. Now she sleeps so good in her crib and plays so well on the floor or in an activity chair, I don't use it.  I think it was nice to have thou.. and we'll keep sharing it between ourselves & prob others after. Anyone you can borrow from or go in on it with?

I'm going to go ahead and say they are amazing. They had the 2012 model in the Nicu when my son was born and they used them to calm the babies in there down. I couldn't afford one when he finally got out of the hospital so we didn't get one but better believe I'm getting one with this one :) make sure to get the infant insert for it as well. The mamaroo goes to 25 lbs so it'll last for a while

If you buy it, look online ( if you don't mind slightly used) for a good deal first. My aunt bought two online ( craigslist I believe). One was actually new and the other used 2 or 3 times. Spent 150 on used and 175 on new one. Some babies don't like it so people are selling them online. Plus baby will only be in it for maybe 6 months.

I got it but didn't try it yet waiting for my baby to arrive . But they all said its good but if u actually taught ur baby on it like some lady's got it after when the baby got use to be carried and didn't like it but if u started it early with ur baby he she will get use to it . Hope that helps .💙
