I had it twice and definitely will have it again, before epidural i was in so much pain and after, i was so relaxed that I could enjoy those moments and i dilated faster, thank God for epidural

You'll know when the time comes what's right for you. Have an open mind and know that not every birth can be planned. I wouldn't have got through mine without one! Don't feel bad if you need one. Every labor is different.

I didn't, and I'm very happy with that choice. At one point I did say "please tell me I have less than three hours left". They all laughed and she was born a couple of minutes later. But I could have done the pushing for three more hours and the crowning for at least another half hour compared to what I had. And then once she was born I hooped up and had a bath. No constipation or back pain ( common side effects), and though having. A baby was certainly uncomfortable, it wasn't so bad. You can always choose to get one later in labor, it's not like you have to decide before you get to the hospital.

I had it with both previous births and plan on getting it again with this one! Labor went from unbearable and unpleasant to enjoyable and relaxing. I was ready to walk around, shower, etc. not too long after having my kids. No lingering or ill side-effects. I don't regret it at all!

Did after a full 24 hrs of labor and being told I had to be induced. I wasn't goint fast enough :(. I gave all my power away agreeing to that. This baby will be born ay home so long and I stay low risk. No drugs are going to be used. I want to birth the way I was intended to. That's my personal preference, everyone is different. Water was a great pain relief for my labor.

I say yes!I have had 4 babies so far and do not regret the epidural at all. I could still feel enough but not be in any pain. Sometimes the contraction hurt so bad. It's really up to you, you can always see how you handle it without one and then decide to get it if you want. (If your not to far dilated by that point) don't stress over it to much.

I had it twice and I probably will with this one there's nothing wrong with it it doesn't have no effect to you baby its just up if you feel comfortable with t or not but if our a first time mom you'll understand once your in labor and the relief and joy it will give you after

I took it twice and taking it again with my third. I cannot tolerate pain whatsoever. If you pinch me, I will get bruised and be in pain for more than a week. I just can't handle it and I knew epidural was the way to go. I couldn't handle the contractions let alone the pushing and crowning and all that. But with the epidural, I was able to feel my baby when he came out. Good luck!
