My husband wants to go skydiving..

He's talked about it since we graduated high school. But he put it off and didn't end up going. Now, he plans on going sometime in June while we are due in august. I am beyond terrified and absolutely do not want him to go. I keep imagining him dying and my daughter never getting to meet her daddy. He says he is going regardless. But I just don't know how to cope. He gave up the idea of getting a motorcycle when we found out we were pregnant (for financial and safety reasons) but he won't budge on this.

His birthday is next month and I have gone back and forth on the idea of paying for his skydiving for him for his birthday present, but can't get over the feeling that if he died I would feel responsible then.

What would you do?
