Rude?

Whilst discussing baby names with my sister she turned around and said that if I name my baby a certain name we have been considering that she would 'have to give him a nick name if we saddle the poor kid with a name like that'. It really got to me and I feel very annoyed with her. I have decided not to discuss names with her in the future and me and my bf have both said we'll wait till he is born to make a final decision.
