You are fertile the 24 hours after you release an egg. And the five days before you release an egg. That's it.

The whole 3%, 1% chance etc, during any other day of your cycle, is under the premise that you *may* ovulate at a time that's different than what an app estimates. Best way to know exactly what days your fertile is to use opks, or track bbt and cm every day for a few months.

It's possible the fertile window isn't quite accurate. So my fertile window is 26th-1st but my husband and I are BDing 22nd-3rd
