Not sure if pregnant

So my period is never late it's always early at the moment I'm 8 days late used the clear blue pregnancy tests coz apparently they pick up early pregnancy but it says I'm not pregnant should I wait another week and test again coz I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend  so there's every possible way I could be
