Is pregnancy everything you thought it would be?

pregnancy everything you thought it would be?" /> I don't know about you guys but I had this fairytale idea of what being pregnant was going to be like. I knew about morning sickness in the first trimester and the aches and pains of the last, but mostly I feel like pregnancy has not be anything like I expected. It's freaking hard! And there is definitely no glow! I'm curious what other FTMs experiences are :)

37 weeks and mine hasn't been bad at all, I've felt completely normal the whole way through, except for the blind shaving lol

I had expectations but it's still not quite what I thought.. Like I expected morning sickness but I did not think I'd still be battling nausea and eating crackers for meals at 27 weeks. I also didn't expect the weird random symptoms that no one talks about, like bloody noses and migraines. Those threw me for a loop!

Haha I was so naive.  There is so much that I'm learning.  None of it has to do with glowing skin or beautiful hair and nails. I'd say I don't know who those magical pregnant women are but unfortunately they're my in-laws. There are things I should've expected but never thought about- like I had no idea that my stomach could physically ache from stretching.  Of course, it now makes total sense.  Ah, pregnancy.  You've made me a real adult because only an adult could get sick twice and still go to work.

I honestly thought I would be miserable, but I am 21 weeks today and this pregnancy has been a piece of cake so far. I had no symptoms in the first trimester and the second trimester I have felt amazing.   If all I have to deal with is a tough 3rd trimester and birth,  then that is a win in my book.

It's a lot easier than I thought it would be. I had a terrible first trimester, but I always thought I'd be one of those women who packed on weight...but I'm almost 25 weeks and haven't gained an ounce, and the last few weeks I've had no complaints but a sore back. Honestly, it's flying by for me.

My mom had a baby a year ago so I was used to it all :) thank god cuz I'd probably be lost!

I felt so prepared going into this! Lol I knew it would be hard, and I would be tired and life would generally suck for me, but it will all be worth it! Lol it is nothing like I thought! Not that it's worse, it's just different. No one tells you about the terror that you feel all the time, and they "tired." Lol I feel like I got hit by a truck! Hahahahaha! I still know that all of this is going to be worth it in the end. I just think that no one know how to explain the feeling of growing a human, and how you'll feel about it. You have to do it to know it.

I had expectations and it went great until 10 weeks when I became high risk and nearly bled to death twice. I now 40 weeks and I'm at a high risk during delivery too. I'm never having another child again. I will adopt the next one.
