Our Loss 👼🏼

Brandi
My husband and I recently experienced the loss of our first baby. I was having some very light brown discharge and about to be 11 weeks. I asked around and some had said it was normal and told me not to worry about it. Me being the person I am couldn't shake it and not worry about it. I was concerned and wanted answers. I called my doctor and got in for the ultrasound the next day. Unfortunately my husband was unable to attend so my mom came. We learned that our baby no longer had a heartbeat and stopped growing at 8 weeks 5 days.
The devastating news was so hard to take and we had told almost all of our family and friends about our exciting news just days before. Often miscarriage is not talked about and most of the time we never think it will happen to us. Some say to wait to tell family and friends until around week 12, but so happy that we didn't. I can't explain the amount of support and love we have received and how many have experienced loss just like we had.
Am I hurting and heartbroken absolutely, but I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Life has a crazy way of working, and know that all will be okay in time. This group has help tremendously and am so sorry for all the families that have experienced loss as it's never easy. Love to all you beautiful ladies. ❤️
