"Anonymous" Religion Posts Suck
It's not like everyone who wants to argue doesn't argue anyway, so I'm not sure why the ball has to get rolling anonymously.
I read a lot of the posts and replies, but eventually need a freaking drink from it all and then get distracted with real life and forget all about it until the next time.
I have two cents to contribute to the never-ending conversation and I don't care about whether anyone does or doesn't comment, but here it goes:
This is what I see the Bible say that God had a specific opinion about:

There are six things the Lordhates, seven that are detestable to him:17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,18 a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,19 a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
If you are a Christian, and you are stirring up conflict in THIS community, you are way higher on GOD's hit list than any gay person could be. In fact, being gay (or trans or pan or any variant) doesn't even make the cut of what He HATES. Nope, not on that list at all. He hates assholes apparently.
You cannot effectively try to make "non threatening" and "kind" posts while using threatening and demeaning examples of your personal hypocrisy.
By the way, I am a follower of Christ. But I read my freaking Bible all the way through and honestly I wouldn't associate with most people who call themselves "Christian". It is an embarrassment to the true Love of Jesus.
