I'm 36 weeks, is Norco safe to take this far along?

Unless your doctor is recommending it, I wouldn't. I took norco, oxycodone, and dilaudid almost the entire second half of my pregnancy, and my baby is fine, but there's still that risk. If your doctor says it's okay, it's because the benefit to you outweighs the risk to your baby.

No. Norco is a narcotic pain reliever with hydrocodone in it. NOT safe. Especially in your third trimester. You should not take any pain reliever besides Tylenol past 28 weeks.

I wouldn't take anything before talking to your OB. If you don't have a prescription and your state has the hospital test your placenta or the meconium at birth, you will test positive for opiates.
