Pregnancy and wisdom teeth??

So I've read that the hormones during pregnancy make some women's wisdom teeth start coming in bc of the gums being sensitive and starting to swell. Anyone on here experience this who didnt have their wisdom teeth removed before becoming pregnant? I'm curious to know!

Mine are terrible. Have been since I was about 15 weeks. They hurt pretty dang bad but the pain is on and off. 😞

I had a wisdom tooth removed while pregnant. They could only freeze the area so much and nothing else for pain. They broke the tooth in 4 and pulled it out. Saw an infection in my jaw,  cut open the side of it and drained it then stitched it all up. Didn't need any antibiotics or pain meds. Honestly it didn't hurt as much as when the tooth was still in lol.

But yes, as to your question, I have heard that it can cause the wisdom teeth to come out more. Mine was an infection.

I'm 11 weeks along and the last five days, I've had severe and extreme pain in my tooth and swollen gums. I just had an emergency dentist appointment and it turns out that because we have all these extra hormones, it can cause your wisdom teeth to come out even more so.

The problem that I'm having is an abscess underneath my one of my wisdom teeth. I have an appointment with an oral surgeon today. I was put on a basic antibiotic that was cleared by my ob-gyn and Tylenol is also safe. I have also gargled with hot water and salt, which doesn't really relieve the pain too much. I'm anxious to see what the oral surgeon says but apparently, it's safe to get wisdom teeth taken out in the second trimester. The pain is so unbearable that I'm willing to do anything safe to get rid of it.

If you're in a ton of pain, I would highly recommend getting it looked at it because an infection to you can carry the infection over to the baby.

Came out and had all 4 removed in 2 weeks. 2 in each week. Never felt more relieved.

Mine started coming in when I was 18 and I had my first child at 17

I haven't had mine took out.  Nor have they come in and im 32 weeks
